‘s new is about the only Bush Administration initiative that I can get behind with unwavering enthusiasm. A great nation needs to not only deal with it’s more mundane and terrestrial problems, but it also needs epic aspirations that inspire its citizens to a cause beyond their individual needs and desires. Space exploration has served that purpose in the past and it can again in the future.

It’s a good thing we repealed prohibition, too, if ony for the many ways in which booze boosts the economy:
