Portraiture 2.0 – Noah Kalina’s Everyday
This morning’s New York Times Arts section features an article about digital self-portraits by way of reporting on the We Are All Photographers Now! exhibit. Specifically, the article discusses the explosion of portraiture made possible by the the convergence of digital photography, low-cost editing software, and the distribution medium of the Internet and demonstrated through the popularity of Noah Kalina‘s Everyday self-portrait on YouTube. Kalina took a still photo of himself everyday for six years and assembled them all into the video he posted to YouTube:
