This is our president singing Green Green Grass of Home at The Gridiron Club with the lyrics rewritten to make light of Scooter Libby and Dick Cheney obstructing justice, Brownie of Hurricane Katrina infamy, among other aspects of his disastrous presidency. This is hardly surprising but perhaps the most revealing thing about the video is the Inside the Beltway journalists having such a grand time and laughing over the epic misfortunes George W. Bush has inflicted on the American people. These are the people we entrust to provide a check on power in our society.
