“Mounseer Nongtongpaw, or the Discoveries of John Bull in a Trip to Paris” is a lavishly illustrated children’s book in verse which was first published in 1808 by William Godwin’s Juvenile Library firm. It is believed to have been a collaborative work including contributions from “Frankenstein” author Mary Wollstonecraft [Godwin] Shelley. Simon Jones narrates this version of the book, animated by Jonathan Blanc, a digital producer for The New York Public Library. Found at YouTube from NewYorkPublicLibrary.
