The title of this eight-minute documentary is Oil is Blood. I subconsciously, automatically appended "Money" to the title, when I first read it. It’s kinda hard not to, considering our current state of affairs in the world. It’s from the National Archives and provided at Google Video by the Documentary Channel. It was produced by RKO Pictures in newsreel format complete with triumphal music and a narrator extolling the virtues of abundant petroleum but also the importance of wartime rationing:
