New Orleans After Katrina – Documentary
Wednesday, June 28th, 2006The New Orleans Video Access Center, a community cable access program devoted to fostering "the creation and appreciation of independent, non-commercial video," has posted a nine-part documentary of post-Katrina New Orleans at YouTube. The longest of the nine installments it fifteen mintues long. The segments address various aspects of how the aftermath of how Hurricane Katrina affected and continues to affect New Orleans.
NOVAC is also currently producing a one-hour documentary called The Drive, "an extensive driving tour through four of New Orleans’ most
devastated neighborhoods supported with maps, interviews, and an
original score by Emmy nominated composer, Gil Talmi."
